What a week of happening in W479!! :D Yiquan is back from China and managed to join us for Sat service together!! Praise the Lord!! :) Albert just had his 1st RUGBY match of his life!! :D

This week has been a busy week for all the students in W479!! Why? Because their exams is only NEXT WEEK!! :D But good things will surely follows after hardwork!! Amen? :D Holidays.. Good Results (By hardwork and by grace of God)..? Lets keep all our students in prayers as they embark on their 1st major exam of the year!! :D

This is the phone Joycelyn got just this month!! Wow its a COOL phone with 5 Mega pixels leh!! Okok.. so Sony Ericsson is as good as Nokia phones k? :D ROFL

And Jackson (that's me!!) has also got another new phone!! It is N85! Wow.. similiar to changing phone.. I feel we should also always be constantly upgrading ourselves!! If not we will still be like the ancient no-color Nokia 3310.. Nobody like ancient things right? :D God loves new things all the time!! :D

EMERGE AND SAT SERVICE

Hey!! This week we have our very own Emerge event!! WOOHOO!! The whole Jurong West hall was filled to the brim!! I think it could easily be around 1500 people that day!! WOW!! The message totally BLEW US apart!! Okie I know you want to hear, this is a summary of the message. Pastor Zhuang shared about the story of Abraham.. God appeared to Abraham 4 times.. (WOW THAT'S ALOT!! Considered He never appear to be physically at all!! ROFL). He told Abraham that he is going to be with Abraham and he is going to have uncountable descendents! But with each subsequent times God appear to Abraham, he just gets more discouraged.. from an spirit of excitement to one which is really doubtful and even resentment. On the 4th time God appeared to Abraham (Gen 15:1-6), Abraham actually COMPLAINED and even BLAMED God for things not happening in his life. What did God do? He didn't cast him into the lake of fire, what He did was to bring him OUT of his tent, into the outside, to show him stars in the sky! WOW!

I believe for all of us it is the same. We are just like Abraham. When God showed us something or when we experience something from Him, we are excited like a child! We can't wait for those words or visions to come to pass. But come the years, things didn't go along as we expect and we got discouraged, we started complaining to God, losing our faith in Him. Many of us even become complacent like Abraham.. We come church maybe for years or months.. and when we hear the same preaching that was being preached or the same song that we sang, we just tell ourselves, "Oh, I have heard that sermon before." and immediately shut his mind off. But the through is God wants us to LOOK UP to Him. That's why He brought Abraham OUT of his tent, to show Him what He promised him again. Abraham is just too caught up in his little tent that he could not see what God has for him.

Why don't we step out of our tents, and look up to God all the time? Instead of being complacent like Abraham and complaing to God that things are not happening. Only then you will have BREAKTHROUGH, just like Abraham who has tons and tons of descendents in the latter chapters!

The service was fantastic as usual!! Pastors shared regarding relationships!

We have Kang Jie who joined us 1st time for the service!! And he responded to the salvation altar call by the grace of God!! :) Lets encourage him and really welcome him ok! :) And also thank God, that Yasmin and Joscelin are able to come for the service this week!! :) Joscelin was terrible la!! Forgot to bring us her cookies!! ROFL!! Nvm.. Next WEEK!





Yeah... we took some wonder shots after service :) And went to eat BAN MIAN again as usual.. haha!

Sunday Study Group




(Wise man and women.. hmmm.. from MOS Burger? :D)

Hahaha!! We met on Sunday to have study group for those students having exam!! It is MORE than just a study group!! We have lunch at 'KOPITIAM' (ok i don't know why, but kopitiam sells more than KOPI k!!) haha and have great time of fellowship together! And we also wrote cards for some of the students having exam to encourage them! :D And know why we got so much pictures above? Thanks to amenda and madeline!! ROFL! They could take over 70+ 'zi pai' photos in just 1 hour!! And guess what? Most of them are only two of them!! And they do it in MOS BURGER!! Hahahaha!! :D
